Tasting Castello Del Poggio Moscato

Hi loves!

Castello del Poggio

This week’s wine I’m telling you all about has become my all-time favorite wine in the whole wide world. If you love sweet white wines as much as I do, you will love this one. The wine is Castello del Poggio Moscato. It is so yummy and I can’t wait to tell y’all all about it!

Variety: Muscat

Region: Veneto

Country: Italy

Year: It only states that it was established in 1706

Price: $14

Vineyard Review:

“The story of the Sweet Life begins with the story of Moscato. Originating in Piedmont, home of some of Italy’s most sought-after wines, its slightly-sweet, refreshingly low-alcohol personality was the inspiration for our entire Sweet Collection. With an unmistakable flavor of peach, musk, honey, and white flowers, our Moscato pairs perfectly with delicate desserts, Thai spice, smoky cheeses, and contagious laughter with friends.”

Sierra’s Review:

This sweet white wine goes down easily. It is light and airy, but oh so yummy. I can definitely taste the fruitiness and the hint of fresh peach, which makes me love this wine even more. I read that the grape umbrella of Muscat that this wine is made of is known to have low-alcohol levels after fermentation, which makes sense that this wine is so easy to get down. It’s most definitely ya desert wine, but one that I can drink at any time of the day since I’m a sweet kind of girl. The color is clear to golden and tends to be a little bubbly, which makes is pretty to look at in the glass. Basically, if you ever want to gift me with a wine, this is the one ladies and gentlemen.
