Tasting Moscato

Hi loves!

Another week and another wine tasting, but sadly this is my very last one for my Geography of Wine course! I have learned so much over this semester, and I’m basically a wine professional (well, maybe not quite but I like to think so). My final tasting is a Barefoot Moscato… are we surprised?

Variety: Muscat

Region: California

Country: United States

Year: Not Specified

Price: $6

Vineyard Review:

“A crisp, refreshing blend of juicy peaches and sweet apricots, Barefoot Moscato combines lush, fruity aromas with a bright, crisp finish that is sure to please any crowd. Finished with a tantalizing twist of lemon and citrus, Barefoot Moscato pairs seamlessly with everything from artisanal cheeses to light desserts.”

Sierra’s Review:

If you have been following along, you know I am a lover of Moscato. This Moscato did not disappoint, but it basically tasted like water so it made it super easy to drink. It was super sweet and had flavors and aromas of crisp apple and peach. It was super yummy and the perfect wine to sip on while watching the Victoria Secret Fashion Show tonight with my roomie.
