A Magical Trip To Paris

Hi loves!

What do two girls studying abroad in Spain do when they have a week off of school thanks to Fería? Travel, of course! Last weeks adventures brought us to Paris, France, and London, England. It was my first time to both places, but I fell in love from my first glance. Sometimes I forget that this is actually my life; I am so blessed to have this incredible opportunity to travel the world.

Day One

Our first day in Paris was a little cloudy, but it did not stop me from falling head over heels with this city. Once we settled into our cute little Airbnb, we headed to see the one thing I was most excited for: the Eiffel Tower. I have obviously seen it before in pictures, but let me tell you, pictures do not do it justice. It is absolutely incredible, and it sure does make a girl feel small. After taking it all in, we had a fun little photo shoot in front of the famous tower and it made me channel my inner Blair Waldorf (all of my Gossip Girl fans out there know who I am talking about). I could not stop the Blair vibes there, I had to go to her favorite macaroon shop, Ladurée. Literally the best macaroons I have ever eaten in my entire life…thanks for the recommendation, Blair! I’m still dreaming about those delicious deserts…

Day Two

Day two in Paris was just as great as the first. Aly and I opted for a hop on, hop off bus tour, so we could have a better chance at seeing all of the historic monuments Paris has to offer. It was a beautiful day, and I am very glad that we decided on the tour. It made seeing everything a lot easier, and we weren’t super tired so we still had energy left for the afternoon. After the tour, we met up with some other girls from our study abroad program and went to the Louvre to see the famous Mona Lisa and other incredible works of art. You could probably spend a good two weeks exploring this massive museum. In order to wrap up this great day, we had to go eat some great food. We went to a super yummy restaurant and tried aligot, aka the worlds cheesiest mashed potatoes. They were beyond incredible.

Day Three

The last day in Paris was the most magical of our days…we went to Disneyland! My inner twelve-year-old was way too excited to spend the day with Mickey Mouse and princesses. It was such a picture perfect day from riding every roller coaster (coming from the girl who is not a fan of roller coasters in the slightest) to eating cotton candy that was bigger than my head. It is definitely a memory that I will treasure forever.

I was so sad to say goodbye to the magical city of Paris. It is a city I have been dreaming about since I was a little girl, and now I can finally say that I have been. Pinch me, I’m dreaming! Paris, I cannot wait to come back again someday. Thank you for such a magical trip.

Next stop: London, England
