Review: Sephora Lotus Face Mask

Hi, loves!

My sweet roomie, Maddy, got me my first facemask from Sephora called Lotus and I have been dying to try it! I finally had some time to myself on this cold winter break after lots of family time and babysitting and decided to test it out.

According to Sephora, the “lotus face mask is designed to perfectly hug facial contours for better and more even penetration of the active ingredients. It locks in water to reduce visible signs of fatigue and strain for a stress-free and rested appearance.”

First things first, this facemask smells AMAZING! I can not get over how great the floral scent was. The smell of the lotus flower as I opened up the facemask was the first thing that made me fall in love. The scent of a product is a big part of relaxation for me, and this one did the trick for me. What better way is there to relax than a facemask? I used the facemask right before bed and it helped me settle down for the night.

To use this facemask, you peel off the pink layer before smoothing out the mask on your clean, dry face. Then you leave it on for about 15-minutes, take off the mask and then gently massage the remaining liquid into your skin. You do not have to rinse your face off afterward, even those of you who have sensitive skin like me (which is always a plus).

The label on the package says “hydratant relaxant, moisturizing & soothing,” and I can definitely say this facemask did just that for me. I instantly felt like my skin was refreshed when I was wearing the face mask. This spell of dry and cold weather in Oklahoma has taken a toll on my skin and I have been in desperate need of some hydration, but this facemask definitely had my face feeling moisturized and hydrated when I took it off.

I would definitely recommend that you try out this product! I already want to make a run to Sephora to go buy more.

This Lotus facemask from Sephora is only $6.00 and you can buy it online or in stores at Sephora. I cannot wait to try out the other facemasks in the collection.
